Spoke to my osteo about cold showers and she was 50/50 about them. As this piece points out, there could be benefits but there is nothing solid to support this...and yet why not try it anyway? I actually do a warm shower first and then 30-60 seconds cold at the end. There are no 'rules' about how long you should do it and again no real data to support the benefits so just do what feels right for you. My 30-60 seconds gives me the similar warm buzz the writer speaks of and is refreshing and mind clearing. So steer your own ship on this one -do what feels best for you.
